Nice to meet you!

N. M. Locke (Nicole) is a Western Australian speculative fiction writer, currently editing her debut New Adult Science Fantasy novel. She loves building colourful, fantastical worlds that reflect the best and worst of reality. In her stories, it’s common to see epic adventures, strong female characters, found families, sassy banter and tough moral choices - all with a dash of romance woven in.

Nicole is a graduate of the Australian Writers’ Centre’s ‘Write Your Novel’ program and has published two short stories in the Elegant Literature magazine.

She is also an environmental engineer by trade, working to improve water, sanitation and health outcomes for diverse communities.
